XAVIER’S MIGRANT SERVICE
On July 1st, all the tuition centres reopened after a month-long holiday. The students returned with great enthusiasm, energy and happiness, and resumed their studies with renewed interest and motivation. We expanded our outreach by starting three new tuition centres in the migrant communities of Jaipur. This initiative enabled us to reach more migrant children and provide them with educational support and a safe learning environment.
On 31st, the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated in a grand and meaningful manner. The students participated enthusiastically in various activities, making the celebration joyful and memorable. The programme also helped the children to learn about the life and values of St. Ignatius.
During the last two months, in collaboration with like-minded NGOs, we also responded to two distressed migrant cases referred through MAIN and ISI, Delhi. Through coordinated efforts and appropriate support, we sought to address the immediate needs of the affected migrant families and ensure that they received the necessary assistance.
On August 15th, Independence Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm in all the tuition centres. Various activities were organized to help the children understand the importance of freedom, unity and responsible citizenship. Drawing and paper-cutting competitions were conducted, providing the students with opportunities to express their creativity while also learning about the significance of Independence Day. The children participated actively and enjoyed the celebrations with great enthusiasm.
